About Myakka
Myakka.co.uk is a unique site selling Indian hand crafted furniture created exclusively for Myakka, who operate a fair trade pricing policy with all their suppliers. Myakka have been steadily increasing their online sales since the launch of the new site on the Imano e-commerce platform.
Myakka is owned and managed by a husband and wife team from their shop and warehouse in Somerset.
The Platform
Myakka are using the Imano commerce platform as a stand alone system with little integration to their back office operations. This allows them to keep costs at a minimum and manage each channel separately. Using the admin system they are able to manage all product information, including stock quantities as well as manage all promotions on the site.
Administration
Myakka are able to manage the whole site using the Imano admin system, but the real benefits are to be able to manage their marketing spend effectively. Using the back-end Metrics system Myakka can track every penny spent on marketing and in real-time, so they can continuously optimise campaigns until they reach the desired ROI targets.

Customer Experience
The Myakka site is built on creating a user experience that will encourage the user to explore the furniture online, the site uses multiple images for each product as well as lifestyle shots of the products in a typical home. Customers are provided with many forms of navigating through the site these include text search, product navigation (‘customers who bought also bought’ and ‘quick picks’) and menu based.
The Result
Myakka achieved a ROI on the Imano platform within six months and overall sales have grown 80% since the new site launch. The site is ranked high on major search engines and appears on the first page for all product specific searches.
Customer Quote
“We were immediately drawn to Imano by their approachability and evident knowledge of developing & maintaining e-commerce websites, it’s a rapidly expanding market and we felt that Imano were positioned well to keep us ahead of the trends and developments in technology.” Georgie Hopkins, Director
