Tip 1 – Content is ‘King’
Keep the content relevant to the keywords you want to be found with, also make sure you use your keywords sparingly throughout the page. The first paragraph on every page is the most important Google uses this to provide its users with a description for your page.

Google is able to index static web pages much better than it can index dynamic pages. Using static pages will also allow you to optimise each page for various keywords.

Tip 6 – Devise a successful link building strategy
Google will improve your page rank based on the number of sites linking to you and the quality of those sites. When building links to your site it is important that the site linking to you is relevant to the keyword, the site should also have a good Google page rank and all the links to your site use keywords within the linked text or with in the alt tags of the linked image.
Tip 7 – Use keywords in the title of links within your site
Avoid using ‘click here’ as the title of any link, use relevant words such as ‘more furniture’ as this will help improve your Google page rank.
Tip 8 – Check for bad spelling and grammar
Spend time on checking for errors as Google will penalise your site if it finds any bad spelling or if the content has any grammatical errors.
Tip 9 – Keep visitors on your site for longer periods
Google improves the page rank of your site based on the number of users you have coming to your site, the more the better. Google will also look at how long they stay at your site, the longer the better.
Tip 10 - Avoid using techniques to fool Google
Google will black list your site if you are using techniques to rapidly build false links to your site, Google will also penalise your site if they find you are using domain names which are registered by know offenders.
